I am a compassionate capitalist. I believe that the basis of capitalism is personal responsibility. I believe that when individuals take responsibility for themselves it will leave the government with tasks which can only be handled in the public domain. I believe that it is the responsibility of Government to provide an enabling environment for the people to take care of themselves. I also believe that Government is responsible for the welfare of those who are not fortunate enough to be capable of being responsible for themselves.
