Kpakpo Shito (Pepper Sauce)

 
Ingredients
  • 14 to 16 hot red and yellow peppers (fresh or pickled)
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method
  • Put all ingredients in a blender and grind for 30 seconds.
  • Pour mixture into a bowl and set aside to defoam before serving.
  • Do not serve immediately after grinding. Wait about 15 minutes.


Accompaniments
Avocado slices ,Sliced onions ,Tomato roses,Banana peppers (sweet yellow peppers)

Note
Pepper Sauce is used as a dip. Ketchup or Worcestershire sauce may be added while eating to minimize the pungent quality of pepper. Extra slices of tomatoes and onions may be served with sauce.
